Our Children and Young People are an important part of our church family at Whitley Bay Baptist Church. We endeavour to help them to grow in their relationships with God and with one another. We are passionate about helping them explore and exercise their God given gifts.
In additional to their groups on a Sunday there are a number of things happening for children and young people during the week.
Carers & Toddlers
Our Carers and Toddlers group runs on Monday mornings from 9.45 to 11.15. Babies to pre-schoolers are welcome to come and play with our construction toys, crafts, a play kitchen, sit-on cars, books, bubbles and more. There’s a special baby area, singing, juice time (and a cuppa for the carers!) and a warm welcome for all.
Our Carers and Toddlers group is so popular we have a bit of a waiting list! If you would like to find out more, or to be added to the list, get in touch with the church office.
Unity
Our Unity events for young people aged 11 and over happen on a Friday evening from 19.30 to 21.00 every other month. We engage in a mix of activities from playing video games to baking, crafting to dodgeball as well as reflecting together on faith and life. To find out when the next one is or to join us please get in touch.
Our young people also regularly attend other activities and events together in the North East including Ask 7:7 hosted by North East Youth for Christ.
